Job Summary

Responsible for building the Cloud Infrastructure and Security Solutions pipeline within GBM Oman for certain named customer list. Provide business development activities within named accounts to position GBM’s Cloud Infrastructure and Security Solutions portfolio.

Job Description

  •  Actively engage with clients to develop the trust and credibility to help them grow their businesses by solving strategic and tactical business problems
  • Assist sales team members with sales efforts including the development of client proposals and presentations. Delivering sales presentations to clients, including designing and developing presentations and responding to RFPs.
  • Identify the customers business pains and propose creative solutions.
  • Create quotes and sales proposals.
  •  Partner with the sales team to generate leads.
  • Work closely with the Client Managers during the entire sales process, from RFI/RFP to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Assist in other tasks to help close deals, such as price tailoring, contract and SOW drafting.
  •  Interact with every area of GBM: Legal Team, Delivery Team, Bid Management Team.
  • Work closely with GBM’s architects & delivery teams to ensure that proposed offerings and services fully meet customers’ business and technology needs.
  •  Define the winning strategy for each opportunity
  • Design enterprise & complex solutions for Data Center, Enterprise networking and network security solutions including building full bill of materials (BOM)
  • Conduct site surveys to gather detailed requirements. 
  • Self-development on the latest technologies in the field of Network, Network Security and SDDC

Qualification and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the same field.
  • Presales/Sales experience is a must.
  • Strong knowledge in Cisco networking solutions (Routing & Switching, Wireless)
  • Strong knowledge in latest networking technologies (SDN, SDWAN, SDA)
  • Strong knowledge in Network Security technologies (NGFW, IPS, Email and Web Gateways)
  • Cisco Commerce (CCW) extensive knowledge for building Cisco BOM
  • CCIE in R&S and Security is preferred.
  • Knowledge in DC Systems infrastructure and virtualization is a plus
