Looking for a  motivated Jr. Network / Network Security Engineer to join our project delivery team will be responsible for 

• Work on multiple customer projects alongside senior engineers.
• Assist in implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting network and security devices (on-site or remotely).
• Gain hands-on exposure to multi-vendor environments, including Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto.
• Build the skills and experience necessary for a successful career in consulting-focused systems integration.

Key Requirements

• Technical Knowledge: Sound understanding of Cisco switching and routing concepts.
• Task Execution: Capable of performing L1 and L2 operational tasks
• Project Support: Shadow and assist the Project Lead in executing assigned activities.
• Site Work: Willing to work on-site in demanding conditions and coordinate with the passive team.
• Travel Flexibility: Open to travel within Oman, including Salalah,  Sohar etc..
• Remote Assignments: Willing to stay at remote sites as and when required.
• Project Documentation: Prepare & Review low-level design (LLD) documents. Prepare as-built documentation and update network diagrams and CMS information

• Bachelors or Diploma
• CompTIA Network & Security + (Preferred)
• Cisco CCNA (Preferred)

Technology Knowledge

• Technical knowledge of:

  • Routing & switching basics (OSI model, TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, static/dynamic routing).
  • Firewall concepts (stateful inspection, NAT, basic policy creation).

• Collaborate with HSE teams to implement safety controls, manage hazardous materials, and mitigate impacts.
• Promote a culture of safety within engineering teams, ensuring that all projects prioritize the well-being of employees and the environment.
• Reports on progress/issues to HSE focal point
• Provide administrative support to the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department. Maintain and organize HSE documentation, including records of incidents, audits, and training sessions.
• Support HSE focal point for all types of emergencies
