Job Summary
The Business Analyst cum Technical Writer is responsible for translating business needs into clear, structured requirements while ensuring all technical and functional documentation is accurate, consistent, and usable. The role sits between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving clarity in requirements, processes, and system functionality.
This position involves gathering and analysing business requirements, mapping processes, and supporting solution design, alongside producing high-quality documentation such as business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user guides, and standard operating procedures. The role ensures that both delivery teams and end users have a clear, shared understanding of systems and processes.
Working across multiple stakeholders, the role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to convert complex technical concepts into clear, practical documentation that supports implementation, adoption, and ongoing operations.
Job Description
• Gather, analyze and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, and user guides.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams and project managers to ensure requirement clarity.
• Conduct gap analysis and propose process improvements or system enhancements.
• Prepare workflows, use cases and process diagrams for better understanding.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, consistent and aligned with project goals.
• Support testing activities by validating requirements and reviewing test cases.
• Manage version control and updates of all technical and business documents.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams for effective communication.

Skill
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management Information Systems or a related field
- Agile Business Analyst or Scrum-related certifications (preferred)
- 3–5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, requirements gathering, documentation (BRD/FRD), process improvement, and software development projects
- • Strong knowledge of Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Use Cases, User Stories, and Process Flows.
• Proficiency in documentation and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office, Visio, Draw.io, Confluence, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), system integration, APIs, databases, and testing methodologies.
• Ability to create process maps, workflows, wireframes, and gap analysis reports.
